I have talked about the many things you can do with sandcarving techniques and using a pressure pot sandblaster. Sandcarving glass is one of the highly desirable items to sandblast because you can create marvelous glass art with it. Some simple glass sandcarvings can be done quite easily and still looks wonderful.
I will be showing some tutorials inside the training course membership center when it is opened to the internet community and will help you get into sandcarving glass without the high expense. Sandblasting equipment for sandcarving can be very expensive, upward of 2,000 to 15,000 dollars.
Glass Carving Techniques
Here is the list of techniques you can do with sandcarving into glass and an explanation of each:
-
Single Stage Sandcarving:
This is a techniques to carve deep into the glass, but only with one stage.
-
Two Stage Sandcarving:
A technique to carve one stage or layer deeper than the other. With the varying stages, it creates a three dimensional effect when the glass is looked at through the other side.
-
Multi-Stage Sandcarving:
This is similar to the 2 stage sandcarving technique except it can have more than two varying depths.
