If you need a bottom mixing valve for the pressure pot sandblaster, then read our discussion below. Like most sandblasting equipment, it wears out. I received this question below:
Do you sell the mixing pot for the bottom of the sandblast? Or where to purchase? Is it included in the info package? I have sandblasted tombstones for over 40 years and understand sandblast and feel the package you offer is mostly what I know already. I can tell from pic sandblast is probably a harbor freight one. thanks, roger
I now sell replacement bottom mixing valves with a long-lasting steel version here. My other newer homemade sandblaster plans shows you how to make the mixing valve configuration and where to get inexpensive parts also.
All you need to do is go to the metal piping section of the hardware store and you will find everything to make one. It is fairly simple to do. All you need to do is find a tee and the right threads for your unit. Hope that helps.
You can see a picture of a pressure pot mixing valve on the sandblaster parts page.
If you don’t know what the bottom mixing valve is, it’s basically the metering valve for the abrasive to air ratio. Located at the bottom directly under the hole of the tank where the abrasive is gravity feed.
